Free AI Meeting Minutes Generator
Paste your rough notes or a transcript and get clean minutes: a summary, the decisions, and action items with owners. Agenda mode plans the next meeting. Free with a ParrotNotes account.
Your notes are sent to ParrotNotes' server to be written up and are not stored there; only a count of characters is kept for your monthly allowance.
How it works
From rough notes to minutes you can send, in three steps.
- 1
Paste your notes
Drop in bullet points, a transcript or the notes you typed during the meeting, up to 15,000 characters. Add the title, date and attendees if you want them on the minutes.
- 2
Sign in and generate
Sign in with Google, Apple or an email code (it creates a free ParrotNotes account) and press Generate. The minutes take about 10 to 20 seconds.
- 3
Copy or download
Read the minutes on the page, then copy them as text or Markdown, or download a .md file to drop into your notes or an email.
What you get
Minutes in the shape people expect, built only from what was in your notes.
A summary
Three to six sentences on what the meeting covered and where it landed, or two sentences in the short style.
Decisions
What the meeting agreed, listed on their own so nobody has to dig them out of the discussion.
Action items with owners
A table of actions with the owner and due date. When the notes do not say who or when, the field reads "Not stated" instead of a guess.
An agenda for next time
Switch to Agenda mode, give the purpose and a topic list, and get a timed agenda with a goal for each item.
What to paste for good minutes
The minutes can only be as good as the notes. Three things that help.
Rough bullets are fine
Half sentences, abbreviations and notes in the order things came up all work. You do not need to tidy them first; that is the generator's job.
Include names when you want owners
Write "Priya: pricing page by Friday" and the action item gets an owner and a due date. Leave the name out and the owner reads "Not stated", which is better than a wrong name.
A transcript works too
If you recorded the meeting, run the audio through the Audio to Text Converter first and paste the transcript here. Long transcripts fit: the limit is 15,000 characters.
Minutes without the typing
You just turned one meeting's notes into minutes. ParrotNotes records the meeting on your phone, with no bot in the call, and writes the summary after every meeting, with action items and decisions on your AI recordings.
