    Get a Spanish recording as a file

    The converter needs an audio or video file. Here is how to get one from the places Spanish recordings usually live.

    WhatsApp voice note

    1. In the chat, touch and hold the voice note.
    2. Choose Forward or Share, then save it to Files or Google Drive, or email it to yourself.
    3. Convert the .opus file to MP3 with the Voice Memo to MP3 Converter.
    4. Upload the MP3 here.

    WhatsApp voice notes usually save as .opus files, which this converter does not accept, so convert them first. A voice message sent as view once cannot be saved or shared.

    Phone call or voice memo

    1. iPhone: open Voice Memos, tap the recording, tap the three dots, then Share and Save to Files. You get an M4A file.
    2. Android: open your recorder app, share the recording and save it to Files or Drive.
    3. Upload the saved file here.

    Some Android recorders save AMR or 3GP files, which are not accepted. Switch the app to M4A or MP3 in its settings, or convert the file first.

    Zoom, Teams or Meet recording

    1. Download or open the meeting recording on your computer.
    2. Use the audio file (M4A) if there is one; otherwise the MP4 video works too.
    3. Trim it to 10 minutes or less if the meeting ran longer, then upload it.

    Accepted files: MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MPEG, MPGA, WEBM, FLAC and OGG, up to 10 minutes and 100 MB each.
