Pick what you need
A delivery date from an order date, the latest order date for a date the buyer needs, the days between two dates, or a lead time built from stages.

Set the working days
Weekends are skipped for business days. Add US federal holidays with one switch, and your plant's own closed dates, such as a shutdown week.

Quote the date
See the date and the day of the week, with calendar and business days side by side, and copy the result into the quote or an email.

- Lead time
- From the customer's order to delivery: order processing, materials, the queue, production, shipping.
- Cycle time
- How long the work itself takes once it starts, for example producing one batch.
- Delivery time
- The shipping part at the end, from the dock to the customer (also called transit time).
How to quote a lead time you can keep
Say which days you mean
Write "business days" or "calendar days" in the quote, and what starts the clock: the purchase order, the approved drawing or the deposit.
Confirm with the plant
Check the current lead time with the plant or supplier before you quote, not the one from the catalogue or last quarter's order.
Add a buffer
Pad for shipping and the unexpected, and give the buyer the date you can keep rather than the best case.
Count the closed days
Holidays and plant shutdowns add days that are easy to forget. Add them as closed dates and the date moves for you.
US federal holidays 2026 and 2027
The switch in the calculator skips these observed dates: a holiday on a Saturday is observed the Friday before, one on a Sunday the Monday after. Private companies set their own holidays, so add the days your plant or supplier closes as closed dates.
