How it works

Save the voicemail as a file
Share the message from your phone's voicemail list and save it to Files, Drive or your computer. The steps for iPhone and Android are below.

Drop the file in, pick the caller's language or leave it on Auto-detect, and sign in with Google, Apple or a one-time email code.

Read, copy or forward
The message appears as text with a short summary. Copy the order, address or number you need, or send the transcript on with a share link.

Save a voicemail as a file
The converter needs the voicemail as an audio file. Here is how to get one off your phone.
iPhone
- Open the Phone app and tap Voicemail.
- Tap the message you want as text.
- Tap the share icon and choose Save to Files.
- On this page, tap the upload area and pick the voicemail from Files.
Android
- Open your voicemail app (the carrier's visual voicemail app or the Phone app's voicemail tab; it depends on the phone and carrier).
- Open the message and look for Save, Export or Share in its menu.
- Save it to the phone's files or Google Drive, or share it to yourself by email.
- Upload the saved file here.
Some Android voicemail apps save AMR or 3GP files, which this converter does not accept. Convert the file to MP3 first, or play the voicemail out loud and record it with a voice recorder app that saves M4A or MP3.
Accepted files: MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MPEG, MPGA, WEBM, FLAC and OGG, up to 10 minutes and 100 MB each.
