MCP Integration

ParrotNotes for Claude

Access your notes, recordings, and AI insights directly from Claude Desktop and Claude.ai.

What is this?

The ParrotNotes MCP Server connects your ParrotNotes account to Claude using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, Claude can read your notes, search your recordings, and generate insights — all through natural conversation.

1. Open Claude.ai or Claude Desktop and go to Settings > Integrations

2. Search for "ParrotNotes" and click Add Integration

"What action items came out of my notes about the product launch?"

Searches your notes for "product launch", retrieves the matching note and its insights, and extracts action items.

"Create a blog post from my note about AI trends"

Finds the matching note, reads its content, generates a blog post insight, and saves it back to your account.

Authentication

ParrotNotes uses OAuth 2.1 for secure authentication. When you connect through Claude's Integrations settings, the authorization flow is handled automatically — you just sign in with your ParrotNotes account.

All data access is scoped to your account using Row Level Security (RLS). Claude can only see your own notes, sessions, and insights — never anyone else's.

Privacy & Data

Minimal access — Claude only reads the specific notes you ask about, not your entire library

No conversation data — Your conversations with Claude are not stored by ParrotNotes

User-scoped — Row Level Security ensures your data is isolated to your account

Revocable — You can disconnect the integration at any time from Claude's settings

For full details, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
